c.1935 Marx, Speed Racer (Blue) and Giant King Racer (Red)
Here are two early tin litho mechanical boat tail racers from Louis Marx & Company. All with original parts. Both built within four years of each other and with similar designs. All embossed tin litho with pressed disk metal wheels, wind-up spring motors, and original tin litho drivers. The blue Speed King Racer has an all silver underside. Either that or it's made from pressed aluminum. This is more likely because it hasn't any rust. Both in used, but not abused excellent condition. Both not working (which is why they're still in such nice shape). They each needed the exact same parts. Asingle motor gear and a flat 2½" support plate which connects to the underside of the car.
